Setting Some Terms and Conditions!

The document contains are terms of the agreement between you the client and us Total PC Tech. By accepting the quote, paying an invoice, or agreeing to Total PC Tech to perform any work you are agreeing to the below Terms and Conditions. If you are not accepting any of these conditions please inform us in writing before conducting any work.

Total PC Tech will perform and provide computer services, repairs and upgrades only at the request of the client. Total PC Tech provides sincere, reasonable and considerate service. Although we aim to provide the highest quality service and support, we cannot guarantee specific results.

Payment/Charges

Standard onsite charges are billed in 15-minute increments or flat rates per minute. Additional transportation charges will be charged depending on your location. The customer is notified before the technician arrives on site.

All onsite/shop labour and parts costs are the responsibility of the customer. All devices sold by Total PC Tech. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in addition to the cost of the item.

There are no refunds for completed service work. Equipment/parts refunds are subject to a 20% restocking fee and can only be issued within 7 days of the purchase date. Total PC Tech reserves the right to refuse refunds for equipment specifically ordered for you.

Payment is due in full at the end of the agreed services. Payment is required before releasing the client's property.

Liability and Customer Responsibility

Our services are provided to repair, upgrade or otherwise repair a computer requested by a client. The device will not be intentionally damaged. The main goal is to repair your computer, not to damage it. In the event of accidental damage to system data or loss of data caused by problems already present in the system, such as viruses, misconfigured software or hardware problems/failures, the customer agrees to retain Total PC Tech and related persons involve Total PC Tech or any work done on your behalf harmless from any harm resulting from such issues.

Software and data backup. It is the Customer's responsibility to back up all existing data, software and programs on the Supported Product prior to performing any Services. TOTAL PC TECH SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR RECOVERY OF DATA, PROGRAMS, OR LOSS OF USE OF SYSTEMS OR NETWORKS. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF SOFTWARE, PROGRAMS, OR DATA WHETHER ITS TECHNIQUES ATTEMPT TO ASSIST YOU WITH BACKUP, RESTORE, OR SIMILAR SERVICES. increase. Such support is outside the scope of Total PC Tech's warranty and this Service Agreement. Support is provided at our sole discretion and without warranty of any kind. We also make no warranties of any kind with respect to third-party products that our technicians may use to assist you.

 

 

Remote IT Support

A remote support connection allows Total PC Tech to share control of a customer's PC during a service attempt instead of an onsite visit. By requesting and accepting remote sessions, clients take responsibility for changes to computer content or system settings. Total PC Tech is not responsible for linking or viewing content, operating remote assistance software, or system performance.

Total PC Tech protects customer security and privacy by ensuring that all open applications that display content such as personal or sensitive information are closed before starting a remote support session. Total PC Tech further recommends that you remain seated at your computer during the remote session.

Termination of Service

Total PC Tech reserves the right to refuse service to you at any time for any reason. Likewise, you have the right to terminate your service with Total PC Tech at any time, but all service fees, labour and parts costs shall be paid in full to Total PC Tech. Total PC Tech also reserves the right to remove any parts, equipment or materials installed by Total PC Tech. If termination of such service is invoked by the customer, the work of such parts, equipment, materials, service charges, and labour is not paid immediately upon termination of service.
